A chocoflan is a dessert half-flan half-cake. It's the easiest dessert recipe I love it. I will write everything down below

Ingredients:

For the caramel layer: 1cup granulated sugar

For the flan layer:

4 eggs

1 can-condensed milk

1can - evaporated milk

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon salt

For the chocolate cake layer:

1 box of chocolate cake and follow the instructions on the box

DIRECTIONS

1. Start by pre-heating your oven to 180c/350f. Also grease a 9 inch bundt pan and leave this aside.

Making the caramel layer:

1. Add the sugar into a non stick pot, or pan. Place this over medium heat.

2. Keep heating this, whiles constantly stirring, until all the sugar has completely melted and is a amber colour. Not too dark because if it’s burn it’s going to be sour

3. Pour this into your bundt pan and leave aside to set. Until it’s cool because to get burn

Making the flan layer:

1.In a bowl, whisk together the egg. Then whisk in the condensed milk, evaporated milk, vanilla and salt. Alternatively, you can just add all these ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth

2. Pour this mixture through a sieve to get out any lumps and then pour it into your pan, on top of the caramel layer.

FIRST BAKE

1. Cover your bundt pan with some tin foil and then place it into a large roasting pan that has high sides.

2. Pour some boiling water into this roasting pan until the water reaches half way up the sides of the bundt pan.

3. Carefully place this into your oven and bake for 35 minutes.

Making the cake

Follow the instructions on the cake box

The 2nd bake:

1. After the flan layer has baked for 35 minutes, take it out of the oven. At this point it will be very jiggly, it won't look cooked but this is okay.

2. Slowly pour the cake batter over this then cover with tin foil and bake, whiles it is still in the water bath.

3. This will take some time to bake, around 1 hour To test it, insert a toothpick into the cake, if it comes out clean it is done

. Leaving the chocoflan to cool:

1.After it is baked, remove it from the oven and take it out of the water bath. Leave it too cool down for a bit, then place it in the fridge for at least 3 hours, overnight is better.

2. Once it has chilled, take it out of the bundt pan, cut into it and then enjoy!

PLEASE DONT REMOVE IT FEOM THE PAN IF ITS HOT It will fall apart
