Hotel the Mitsui, Kyoto luxury hotel review

🌸 Kyoto lives rent-free in my mind. If I have the opportunity to go back, I'd return in a heartbeat.

🍵 Hotel The Mitsui only added to my amazing experience in Kyoto. Right when you walk into their hotel lobby, you leave all your worries behind and are greeted with a hot towel and green tea. If your room isn't ready yet, you're free to use their one-of-a-kind thermal spa or have a dining experience at their two acclaimed restaurants.

👘 The kimono-clad staff were so warm and welcoming. If you needed any help with reservations, they were more than happy to assist.

🛏️ The rooms were spacious, luxurious, and everything you want in a hotel. Slippers by the entrance, plush robes in the bathroom, a heated Toto toilet, and a plush bed, accompanied by a beautiful garden view. For turndown service, they left a different little treat each night, such as face masks, sweets, and chapstick. They also provided us with cute matching pjs.

🏯 The hotel is also conveniently located next to World Heritage Site, Nijo Castle. I can't wait to go back!
