My July Playlist: Heartwarming Comforts

Posting this late, but here is my playlist from July.

It was a really busy month, so I was looking for shows that are easy to watch and comforting. Besides Rotten Mango and a trashy real estate reality, all the other shows are actually very feel good type of shows. Soothing!

📺 Live and Love 势均力敌的我们

Rating /⭐⭐⭐⭐: A continuation from June, because they were still releasing new episodes. In the first part of the season, I thought it was more addictive. Maybe I was losing steam after waiting for the episodes to be released, towards the end I thought it was rather slow and predictable.

📺 Burning sun part 2 and part 3

Rating /⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐: I watched part one after BBC released their documentary and it was really good. So when I saw Stephanie release two more parts after her first video, I had to watch it all. The whole case is just so heartbreaking and humans should really do better.

Rating /⭐⭐⭐⭐: Shooting Stars 별똥별

Lee Sung-kyung is such a star as usual. It’s not too heavy and I really enjoyed the humorous elements throughout the drama! Super good looking cast and characters are well written.

📺 Owning Manhattan

Rating /⭐⭐⭐: Yet another real estate reality that hits Netflix, but this time in New York. It’s definitely not as dramatic or trashy as selling sunset, but I watch these shows for the drama, so it was alright.

📺 Meet Yourself 去有风的地方

Rating /⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐: Re-watching this show because I was having withdrawals from watching To The Wonder in June. Just like I remember it to be: the show is so good, very heartwarming and the characters are so lovable 🥲 Highly recommended!

📺 Lovely Runner 선재 업고 튀어

Rating /⭐⭐⭐⭐: Watching it, because it was recommended to me in one of my earlier posts . I saw a lot of review saying that they have withdrawals from this show. The show is good, I would say it’s slightly overrated. The male lead is really handsome though 😍

📺 Welcome to Samdal-ri 웰컴투 삼달리

Rating /⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐:This drama was recommended to me because I went to Jeju recently. Nothing crazy to rave about. But also nothing to complain about. The show is good and the acting is decent. It’s just an easy watch with a heartwarming storyline.

Didn’t get to watch much in July, hopefully I can find time in Aug!
