Life As An Intern | Digital Marketing 💻

I’m 1 month away from completing my Internship in a Digital Marketing Agency. Here’s how an intern life is like and what I do as a Digital Marketer!

Company Life:

• Get to interact with a lot of people such as colleagues and clients (get to go on client meeting)

• Celebrate events together such as Christmas Party

• Learn softskills such as communication

• Wayyy different from school, you may OT at times, but when you’re off work, you don’t have to be stressed about homework or exams that you have to study for when you get home! More peacfeul weekends

• Looked forward to weekends and public holidays more than when I was in school

Digital Marketing Role:

• I don’t design content or brainstorm it, but I schedule them and buy ads

• Create target audiences according to content and campaigns

• Create chatbots, making things automated

• Analysis for better campaigns in future

• More digital and technological skills rather than creativity but are one of the best skills to learn especially when you want to start your own business in future

• I do the same things multiple times but for many different clients - usually how its like in an agency, smaller scope

Friends 👭🏻:

• Quite lucky to be interning with my close friends and we do go on meals after work and wait for each other to end work

• Made new friends at work and everyone usually eat together during lunch time (mostly dabao from nearby malls/eateries and eat in the office)
