Weekend getaway in the Hamptons

Looking for a perfect escape from NYC, but less less than 3 hours away? The Hamptons is the perfect little spot to get a weekend away from the crazy, busy, hot city with easy transportation to and from.

Recently, I spent a weekend in the Hamptons and stayed in Sag Harbor. From Manhattan to Southhampton by LIRR, it took about 2 hours and 40 minutes. Can be quicker or longer depending on the time of day you decide to travel.

I visited lots of cute towns with shops, food, boats by the water and beachy bars/restaurants. Below is my personal plans of where I went for the weekend.

1.Brunch at Sagtown Coffee

-I ordered a Matcha latte and Acai bowl

-Such a cute spot and located in downtown Sag Harbor where you can walk around and shop

2. Happy Hour at Surf Lodge

-This is one of the top well-known bars/restaurants for day drinking, eating, hanging out with friends and special musical guests to perform live.

3. Dinner at Talya Montauk

-If you want great food with a fun tropical vibe at midnight, this place is for you. My friends and I ate here almost every night because the Greek food is excellent. The place turns into a club at a certain hour and has an outdoor patio as well.
