What is 80/20 training? 80/20 training is when you focus on strength training 80% of the time and other styles of training for the remaining 20% of the time. This can be running, cardio, stretching, yoga, etc.

The goal of strength training is to get stronger & put on more muscle mass. Lifting weights is the best way to do this but you can also do Pilates, especially reformer Pilates, to achieve this as well. For example, if you train 5 times a week, make 4 of those training sessions strength based. Or if you training for 60 mins, lifting weights for about 48mins and do another style of training for about 12mins.

The other 20% of training is whatever you want it to be! If you like running and doing cardio then go for it. If you prefer yoga or a group fitness class do that instead.
