Growing up I always had a chubby baby face. My facial features were hidden under the fat and inflammation. When I decided I wanted to decrease both of those things, I noticed I started losing fat everywhere. Here are my top 3 tips to losing fat in your face⬇️

1. 80/20 diet

Eat healthy, minimally processed foods 80% of the time and the other 20% of the time let yourself enjoy. I eat lots of grass fed meats, fruit, fish, and vegetables most of the time. You don’t have to be perfect with your diet but in order to lose weight you have to be consistent.

2. Gaining muscle, losing fat

LIFT WEIGHTS AND HIT YOUR PROTEIN GOAL! Lifting is an important part of this process. As you gain muscle, your resting metabolic rate increases. This is good for losing fat and keeping it off. Also, don’t forget to hit your protein goals. In a calorie deficit a good general recommendation is 1g of protein per lb of body weight.

3. Lowering inflammation

To lower inflammation you must be eating foods that are low inflammatory, sleep 7-9 hours per night, and incorporate activities to reduce stress (like walking, yoga, etc.). I did all 3 of those things and started walking 10k steps a day. It made a BIG difference in how I looked & felt.
