Have you always wanted to be able to do the splits? If so, then this stretching workout is for you! Before you begin the workout make sure your body is warm. I recommend trying this AFTER a strength training workout or after doing at least 10 mins of walking! That way you can get the most out of these stretches.

Hold each pose for at least 30 seconds, but if you can hold them each for 1 minute you will see results quicker. Full workout details⬇️

1. Low lunge

2. Lizard

3. Pigeon

4. Forward fold

5. Hip flexor stretch *advanced*

For the hip flexor stretch, place your knee against a wall allowing your shins to touch the wall behind you. The goal of this stretch is to have your torso straight. If you can’t do this right away don’t worry, this is a hard stretch.

Once you’re finished with one side, try to see how far you can get into the splits. Hold that for at least 1 min. & 🔁repeat with your other leg.
