RATING MY MOISTURIZERS🧴☁️

as someone with dry skin, having a hydrating moisturizer is key in my skincare routine. I personally like moisturizers that are not too watery and not too thick. I was an avid Cerave user for years, but once I started getting gifted moisturizers, I started to explore new formulas. here’s what I think of my collection:

EXPENSIVE

Brand: Fresh Besuty Rose Deep Hydration Cream

💰Price: $46

⭐️Overall rating: 4/5: I really enjoy this moisturizer! I don’t like that it has fragrance, which is why i gave it 4⭐️. It’s hydrating, not too thick, and gives a beautiful glow.

Brand: Lancôme Rénergie 300 Peptide Cream

💰Price: $145

⭐️Overall rating: ?/5: I haven’t used this enough to give it a fair rating, but so far I do like the thickness of it. It does have anti-aging benefits and good for combo skin. The price is very expensive, so I don’t think I would repurchase with my own money.

Brand: Ole Henriksen Strength Peptide Moisturizer

💰Price: $51

⭐️Overall rating: 4.5/5: This formula is definitely thick, but it actually applies smoothly on the face. It leaves my skin soft and hydrated. I would consider repurchasing!

Brand: Farmacy Beauty Honey Halo

💰Price: $48

⭐️Overall rating: 4/5: I think this is the thickest in my collection. It definitely needs to be massaged in thoroughly.

CHEAP(ER): LESS THAN $30

Brand: Cerave Daily Moisturizing Lotion

💰Price: $18.49

⭐️Overall rating: 3.5/5: I love the price for the amount you get, but this is not moisturizing enough for me! My skin would start to feel dry after a few hours.

Brand: Rhode Barrier Restore Cream

💰Price: $29

⭐️Overall rating: 5/5: This is the perfect moisturizer for me. I love the thickness, there’s no fragrance, and it makes my skin look amazing. I love using this for everyday and makeup prep.

Overall, I would definitely repurchase Rhode Barrier Restore Cream and maybe repurchase the Ole Henriksen or Farmacy Beauty.
