Goodwill Outlet thrifting tips 🌟

Goodwill Outlets are super fun to shop at, and nothing beats finding a good deal!! Here are some of my top tips for shopping at the “bins”:

1.) Bring gloves!! Outlets are not like regular Goodwill stores. Instead of being hung on racks, items are tossed into large bins, so you’ll have to do some digging! Wearing gloves will ensure you that you won’t get any questionable debris on your hands and you’ll feel comfortable getting to the bottom and looking at every item.

2.) Go early in the morning!! Beat the rush of people fighting for your bargains by getting there right at opening time. The bins will be less picked through and you’ll have lots of time to look around.

3.) Check items for imperfections!! The outlets are the final stop for donated items, so lots of the pieces may have stains, holes, or other impurities. Make sure you examine each item before purchasing so you know exactly what you’re bringing home.

4.) Think outside the box!! You can find so many amazing items at the outlets, and it’s easy to find a great deal when you pay for things by the pound instead of individually. Get creative and imagine the potential of every item, whether it’s up cycling, cropping, dying, and more!!
