why I love vintage kitchenware 🫶

Vintage kitchenware is a TOTAL passion of mine. You have no idea how many times people have pointed out in videos (or irl) pieces that I use and thought that it was from trendy places like Anthropologie or CB2😂when in reality it’s vintage! And not to mention, a fraction of the price.

Also, when you get vintage kitchenware, it’s more unique—you’re less likely to find anyone else with it! Which feels so fun and special to me. And a lot of the time better quality (things are typically made cheaper nowadays)

It’s also fun to learn about the different time periods pieces come from and their history. For example, I LOVE depressionware (it’s the clear pink plate, cup, and pitcher in the second pic) They were created in mass quantities during the depression, and given out for free with purchase at department stores. This was an effort to get consumers to spend during a time where people were not, and the bright colors were to bring some happiness during a dark time. So interesting + the pieces are beautiful!
