Fried noodles was one of my favorite foods I ate growing up in Hawaii. It was actually one of the first meals I learned to make myself! It always hits the spot and reminds me of home. Here is how to make it!
INGREDIENTS:
-Noodle packet of your choice
-1 chopped vegan hot dog
-1 stalk chopped green onion
-Just egg
-1 tsp teriyaki sauce
-1 tsp hawaiian bbq sauce
-1 tsp japanese bbq sauce
-1 tsp sesame oil
TIP: Don’t leave the noodles cooking for too long! These noodles cook fast and will get really soft after about 3 minutes. Boil them until they break apart, and then throw them in the pan to fry
Like I said before, this dish is super nostalgic to me. We used to eat fried noodles in a bag from the manapua man truck after a long day at the beach, it always hit the spot.
If you don’t have access to/can’t find hawaiian bbq sauce, regular bbq sauce will work too! You can also customize this and play with different ingredients like sriracha, other veggies or proteins etc. It’s a really great dish for getting rid of leftovers in the fridge!
This is a super easy and quick meal to put together as well, so its great if you are short on time. Would you make this?
