NYC Vegan Restaurant review 💌 Franchia Vegan Cafe

Franchia Vegan Cafe is my favorite spot in NYC to get vegan sushi. My boyfriend and I come here all the time and can’t get enough! 😊

Located on Park Ave, Franchia is the perfect spot for date night. They have lots of seats available both outside and inside. The Ambience of the place is so welcoming right off the bat and the staff is so kind. 🕯️

To start off the night, we got drinks. I got a Soju Mojito and my boyfriend got the Rejuvenation. These were both from the Soju cocktails section of the menu and were $15 each. They were both super refreshing and the perfect drinks to accompany our meal 🍹

For an Appetizer, we got the Combo Korean Pancakes. We get this literally every time we come here. For $18, you get Scallion, Kimchi and Corn Cilantro pancakes. Personally, my favorite are the corn cilantro. 🍽️

Next was the main event, Entrees. We of course got some sushi! Rolls pictured are Crispy crab roll, Dragon roll and Rainbow roll. PRO TIP: If your boyfriend is allergic to shrimp, take him to a vegan sushi spot and he can enjoy a moment of bliss with these vegan shrimp. 🍱

We also tried a new dish this time around, the Crispy Korean Chili Tofu. I am so glad we did, because I might have just found my new favorite thing to order. The perfect amount of texture and spice and it really hit the spot. 🌶️

Somehow we saved room for dessert, which was Tiramisu! This was a perfect end to a great meal. The vanilla ice cream was so creamy and delicious. 🍦

If you are a vegan in NYC who is a former sushi lover, Franchia is a must try. You are sure to find the nostalgic taste for sushi is fulfilled. ✨
