Read this if you feel like giving up - A levels

“idk u give me a sense that you are giving up, idk if I’m one of the contributing factor but you know it’s not worth it right” one of my cher told me this today cuz honestly I have been losing focus and had a lack of motivation… feel like I can’t get things right😔😔😔

To be honest, at the start of this year, I was damm motivated and confident that I want to be the top student in my sch for A levels. Therefore, every test I always did quite well and better than most of my peers. However, things just fell off near prelim period, I wasn’t focusing and feel like I’m giving up on myself even up till now when it’s the most crucial period. My prelim results wasn’t as good as my usual test as I didn’t get the A for my chem and math like usual and that didn’t motivate me to work harder.

honestly, at this point of time just think about these: what if your close friends around you got 90rp/88.75rp/85rp or any score higher than you, how will you feel? what if you are the only one in the class that got this low?

Think about those people who have supported you (family and friends) and was hoping that you will do well. What if you disappointed them? Also think about this, what if you don’t get into uni or the course you desire? Are you sure that you want to retake your a levels again? Even if you retake, are you confident that you will do better? Also, remind yourself that there’s gonna be post a level regrets for sure… grind hard now and let yourself know during that period that you have done your best and not dwell in what you could have done

At this point, you have no time to waste and get distracted by other useless things so in the upcoming 2 weeks please grind hard and treat every minute and every second wisely. There’s still a chance that you can make an improvement. There’s still a chance that you can get an A. There’s still a chance that your name will be on the screen during results day next year. There will be no chance at all if you have chosen to give up now.
