Chinese romance dramas to feel that “tian-mi” 💗

I have been recently feeling a little down, so i decided to binge watch some of my favourite chinese romance dramas. It definitely improved my mood and made me feel a little better about my situation. Feeling down like me? Here’s some dramas you can watch to cheer yourself up!

💕 Love and Redemption:

Storyline: According to legends, the god of war saved the heavens in a deadly battle against the demon a thousand years ago. Both fell from the heavens and disappeared from the world.

My take: Really love this drama as the storyline progresses pretty nicely without it being too draggy. The many episodes are all worth watching as the plot becomes even more interesting to watch towards the end.

💗Go Ahead:

Storyline: The story revolves around three troubled youths who find solace in their common experiences to become the best family that they can be for each other. Growing up in dysfunctional households, three individuals who are unrelated by blood treat each other like family as they yearn for the love that they cannot find at home.

My take: This is one of my most favourite dramas ever made!! The slice of life element to the show gives us a relatable feeling to the show. And as the character grows, we also relate to the life problems they face. And in this show, there is no bad character as everyone grows and learns to be better- one of the best things i like about this show.

💖Love O2O:

Storyline: A story of two popular college students who fell in love through an online RPG game.

My take: This show is quite the typical romance drama, with a different content element. The fact that it was two gamers falling in love made it a more interesting story, and it also shows the love that society is experiencing - an online love.
