I hate this advice - Never go to bed angry 😑

So my mom loves to start arguements at night and tries to resolve them even it means arguing till 2+am.

I always hate this type of stunt and one counselor told me previously to take a break from the situation and 😴 sleep so that I have better clarity the next morning. Her advice worked for me.

Then I am surprised to learn that some people think it's mature to resolve the conflict asap because anger is baaaaad. 🙄 However we need time to process and acknowledge our emotions especially anger. Anger is neither good or bad unless you act on it via violence.

I searched around and this is a great article "Relationship advice that don't work" explaining why this advice is terrible. And another article from slate also explains that sleep deprivation and anger makes you do and say stupid stuff.
