Dress pumpkins Before CARVE TIME? 🤔

Our pumpkins looked so plain and non-aesthetic sitting on our porch waiting to be carved for Halloween… traditionally, we do it the week leading up to Halloween. So decided to dress them according to the current decor…

I had a leftover leaf vine I’m not using this year, so I wrapped it like a wreath sat onto top of the middle pumpkin, allowing the stem to show through. Top step and bottom step pumpkins I wrapped burlap ribbon around the stems and tied into a bow… (I have reused these ribbons every year, starting with Halloween, transforming for Thanksgiving, and another transformation for Christmas.) I have several old flowers and leaves that are either individuals I decided not to use, or fell off the original host decor… yeah they’re getting old 😭😂 but I reused them by sticking them into the burlap and into the bow tie creating a perfect little pumpkin topper. 😊

My mom makes holiday foliage bows and you make like her idea better than mine. She take those little bread tie twists and saves them. She makes burlap bows onto the tie twists and uses whatever arrangement with the burlap, from holiday decor to spring flowers and more. But what’s easier for her, is she glued it together, and then it’s easier to take on and off with the tie twists!

She uses the arrangements on pumpkin stems, wine bottles, gift bags, and other places around the home depending on current season.

👍Pros: so cute!!!

🤔Cons: now I dont carve these pumpkins… I wanna just buy more to carve!
