Pow Wow Ready

Cherokee National Holiday Pow Wow was fabulous as always! Food was superb! 😉

My mom made our ribbon skirts symbolizing our Anigategewi Clan or Wild Potato.

My daughter is an athlete and just put her skirt on over her clothes 😂 I style a bit more but the tee I was gonna wear didn’t get washed, so I had to settle. And my previous momma who made our skirts 🥹! I love her so much! What a fun weekend!

Day 1 - I assisted my mom and elders for the Elder Summit, went to the craft fair, then to the Pow Wow!

Day 2 - we made a float for AW Studio and ride in the parade, then sold tshirts for Black Feather Trading Co. then back to the Pow Wow to serve for Boujee Frybread!

What an eventful weekend! I didn’t get many pics, but enjoy what I captured!
