1️⃣ Drinking sugar

❓Sometimes I may “reward” myself with a fruit juice after working out. The amount of sugar in a glass of juice can be similar to a few pieces of the fruit.

✅ I try to eat my fruits whole. Plus it’s more filling.

2️⃣ Very hungry after working out

❓I felt very hungry after work out and tend to eat more. At times, I may eat more than necessary.

✅ I tried to eat filling but low calorie food like broccoli. After a while, my body get used to the work out and I am no longer very hungry.

3️⃣ Snacking

❓Snacks may look small but high in calories and sugar. Eating 4 pineapple tarts contain more calories than a bowl of rice and takes a 28 min walk to burn off the calories.

✅ I love pineapple tarts but I try to just eat 1 or 2.

4️⃣ Cheat meals/ Cheat days

❓After working out and eating healthy on weekdays, it’s very tempting to eat more or eat indulgent food.

✅ I do “portioning” by sharing the good food (and the calories) with my family or friends. Everybody gets to enjoy and not experience a calorie bomb.
