I donated Blood!

I imagined it to be a little more intimidating but it wasn’t. I love giving blood and helping others out. It’s something I always like to do in my free time whether doing plate sells, donating clothes, shoes, books, or just doing something small like helping a neighbor with eggs.

I feel it expresses who I am as a person.

The process was quick and easy. I filled out a form online. Scheduled my appointment (last minute cause I was so busy this week). Then I went to the library near my campus. And did a questionnaire.

They checked my hemoglobin, blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate. Fast and easy 😃

Then proceeded to get started with the blood donation. It was a little pinch and poke. But it wasn’t as bad since I’m used to needles growing up. Even though I had a big fear up until age 15.

Like I said the process was quick and it didn’t take but an hour. Next time, I’ll eat breakfast early instead of waiting until 9am when my appointment was at 10:30. 😅
