Onion Gratin Soup✨

Started off with Onion Soup, it was my first time trying such soup and it turned out to be quite salty. I would recommend having it alongside your main dish rather than on its own.

Beef Stroganoff Butter Rice

My partner ordered this because it was rated the most popular dish. However, he didn’t seem to enjoy it much; it was not as flavorful than what he had expected it to be like.

Ginger Pork Rice Set✨

This is a seasonal dish, the sliced pork was a bit fatty, but the rice and gravy helped balanced it out. I appreciated the homely feel of the whole meal set, complete with side pickles, miso soup, and lots of cabbage salad. If you enjoy a comforting Japanese set meal, you’ll likely enjoy this.

Chocolate Brownie with Ice Cream

We were suppose to order their popular fruit tart, but most tarts were unavailable. So, we settled for their regular brownie with ice cream. It was a simple brownie served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top, drizzled with chocolate. It was a very average dessert, but it definitely give a good end to the whole meal.

Will I go back again?

I still prefer their Tonkatsu from Ma Maison, but if you have not visit this outlet, I would recommend you to give a try. Service and atmosphere does give the whole dining experience a lift! Very cosy and lightly dim. But onion soup was our fav of the night, a new taste and flavorful soup for a rainy night.
