ACNE PRONE? : TRY A PROPOLIS SERUM

If you love propolis skincare, today’s post is for you! I’m comparing the popular COSRX propolis serum and the ByWishtrend Polyphenols in Propolis 15% Ampoule.

Although they are called “Serum” and “Ampoule” they are actually pretty much the same category of product. It’s just marketing.

- More viscous

- Leaves a sticky finish

- More plumping but less hydrating

- Leaves your skin with a noticeable glow

- Contains mostly propolis extract

- Helps to soothe inflamed pimples very well

- Better for those with dryer skin that are acne prone

- If you face lots of inflammation, you’ll love this

- Also good if you wanna get an intense glow

- Cheaper $22

🐝By Wishtrend

- Lighter and less viscous

- Not sticky

- More hydrating but less plumping

- Also leaves your skin with a glow

- Despite the propolis naming, it doesn’t contains that much propolis but actually contains more Houttyunia Cordata Extract

- Helps to soothe inflammed pimples too but less so than the cosrx

- Best for those with oily to normal skin that are acne prone

- If you want a light serum that is great for overall breakout maintenance, this is for you

- More expensive $30+

Overall, I would go for the COSRX as I found it to be more money worth and a consistent worker. As I deal with the occasion inflammed pimple, the cosrx also does a reliable job of calming those spots down
