Todayβs post is about KBeauty products that are great value for money! Specifically serums :)
Serums are usually the most expensive in a skincare range but these products here are affordable products in a HUGE bottle. And they donβt skimp on the impressive ingredients too!
π₯―Papa Recipe Blemish Serum
ππ»Recommended for: All skin types, especially dehydrated skin. This is fragrance, EO and drying alcohol free.
πΈPrice: $30 for 150ml. $0.2/ml
ππ»ββοΈMy opinion: At this price point, you wouldnβt expect to see such an impressive ingredient list but THIS DELIVERS VALUES. It has Galactomyces Ferment Filtrate (which is the same as the key ingredient in SK-II) and other impressive ingredients like Niacinamide, Bakuchiol, Panthenol, Adenosine, 5 types of Hyaluronic Acid. This makes it a real powerful hydrator that really plumps you your skin. It leaves you with bouncy and dewy skin that is really healthy.
The downside is that it doesnβt live up to its βBlemish Serumβ naming as I didnβt notice much change to my hyperpigmentation. But otherwise, a really good hydrating serum that doesnβt feel heavy or overly sticky.
πSNP Salironic Serum
ππ»Recommended for: Oily to Combination (dry) skin that is acne prone. This is fragrance, EO and drying alcohol free.
πΈPrice: $16.50 for 110ml, $0.15/ml
ππ»ββοΈMy opinion: I was not expecting much from this but it really delivered! The inclusion of betaine salicylate (BHA) and gluconolactone (PHA) really proved to be a gentle but effective combo at keeping my skin clear. I found that I had less clogged pores and experienced smoother skin. This also includes lots of soothing, hydrating and moisturizing ingredients that make it perfect for maintaining a healthy skin barrier. It isnβt greasy, sticky or heavy at all.
This isnβt a strong exfoliant hence it will require lots of patience to see results. If you want immediate glow or a smoothing effect, a dedicated AHA or BHA will be best for that.
