LASERS & INJECTIBLES in Korea + CLINIC RECC 🤠🙏

Everyone knows that South Korea is the go-to place for all things beauty, and that involves a trip to the skin clinic to get all your concerns met in ONE DAY! I learnt from my Korean friend that this is totally common and that girlies usually schedule a one day trip every month just to zap zap everything away.

I went to Lamiche Dermatology which is quite a reputable and well-known clinic (I don’t mess around when it comes to my skin!!!) especially since the regulations surrounding aesthetic treatments are not as stringent in Korea.

Based on my concerns, the doctor suggested 7 types of lasers + 3 different injectibles. Initially I didn’t really want to do the injectibles but they told me it’ll be really natural and since I was there I may as well just try LOL 🤪🤪

In the end I did:

LASERS -

1️⃣ BBL: uses a pulsed light to stimulate collagen to combat the usual skin cone

2️⃣ INMODE: RF current flows to improve elasticity and tighten areas where skin tends to sag

3️⃣ Affirm MPX: tightens pores and skin

4️⃣ ICON: improves appearance of pores, bumps, scars and improves elasticity

5️⃣ Ulthera: anti-ageing powerhouse to tackle sagging skin and lifts!!!

6️⃣ Excel V: tackles melasma, freckles, collapses blood vessels for less redness

7️⃣ Genesis: more collagen to tackle wrinkles and pores

INJECTIBLES -

1️⃣ Botox

2️⃣ Filler

3️⃣ V-OLET: a fat dissolving injection for certain parts of the face!

One thing is to manage your expectations because beauty treatments here are meant to be EFFICIENT. Definitely not the most comfortable because they don’t numb you up as long and it definitely feels like a fast food chain in terms of how quick they do things.

PAIN SCALE -

It was 100% not painless and the combination of multiple lasers at once was really quite killer tbh. I have to say the injectibles were less painful than I expected given that I have a few of needles and REALLY SUPER NATURAL. I can barely see changes!!!!

I told the receptionist I’d never do this again but jokes on me because the results got me!!!! And I’ll definitely be back for more 🤪🤪🤪

💸 PRICE: The total price depends on how many lasers and treatments you do, but it’s ~1,200,00won for 5 lasers. More will be cheaper but I know that everyone’s recommended plans differ so the prices will also differ slightly.

On a side note I have no regrets going with Lamiche! The English translators were wonderful and the experience there was seamless, but I’ll do a more thorough review on the clinic later!
