SWEAT AND SEBUM? No problem with this sun stick!

Admittedly I am not as diligent as I’d like to be when it comes to the act of reapplying sunscreen even though I always remind y’all to 🤡🤡 but good sun sticks have been paving the way for me to be more proactive about it (also I don’t want more freckles and spots…..) 🫠

Given how much I ADORED the sunscreen version of this, I knew I had to get my hands on the sun stick when it was first released. This is @skin1004official Hyalu-Cica Silky-Fit Sun Stick (wow what a mouthful) 😮‍💨

It’s a chemical sunscreen that has both centella (ofc) and hyaluronic acid inside, it claims to hydrate skin while protecting it. 💪🏻🥰 ALSO SWEAT-RESISTANT which is so rare for a Korean spf omg they are listening to us!!!!!!

Ironically I didn’t find this very hydrating, but AT THE SAME TIME it doesn’t dry skin out. So it doesn’t really add or remove water (imo) which is not a bad thing? 🤔

But for this reason I personally didn’t really enjoy it that much when I was somewhere dry and cold! It felt a bit dry for me. But here in hot and humid Singapore, I’ve used it again and can confirm it works much better for my combi skin here 🫶🏻🥵

LET ME TELL YOU WHEN THEY SAID SWEAT-RESISTANT THEY MEANT IT. As I perspired BUCKETS 🔫🌊 while hiking through foreign lands, this didn’t budge a bit. I didn’t feel it 🚩sliding off my face 🚩 in the slightest 😆✨

I prefer more matte finishes with my sun sticks as this often goes over an oil slick formed in the earlier part of the day. This one isn’t matte but satiny — I like how it isn’t overly dewy and cloying.

In terms of oil absorption and pore blurring, BOJ > this one. But if you want something less matte and more satiny, this is it. 🥰

As my friend remarked (hi I know you will be reading this), it’s less balmy too! I agree. Which is pretty nice since you feel it less on your skin.

AND IT’S SO AFFORDABLE — only $6.50-$10 when on sale like what excuse do u even have for not reapplying sunscreen. ✋🏻

Basically if you haven’t, GO GET IT. Or wait until 11.11 when there’s massive sales everywhere? 🫣
