Age backwards in JUST 80-mins (PSA it’s 50% off) 🫣

Yes, you heard right. The 80-minute ritual at Sulwhasoo made my skin look 10-years younger. I haven’t seen it glow like that in years!!!

One of my favourite ways to indulge in some TLC and #LoveMyself is through facials! There’s just something so relaxing about getting your skin pampered and waking up feeling like a whole new person.

Did you know Sulwhasoo has its own spa? I went down to try the Concentrated Ginseng Renewing Treatment, a treatment that promises to rejuvenate tired skin and gives a youthful complexion.

Here’s what I thought — if you can’t already tell by the title, I loved it 🥹

✍️ 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐱𝐭/𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧:

First things first, I loved the treatment room. It was very spacious and extremely soundproof. It had a oriental feel to it which is very in line with the Sulwhasoo branding.

The facial features Sulwhasoo’s own products, so you get to experience the entire ginseng line through the facial. It was combined with a jade ring applicator which is said to balance yin and yang (idk about all these things but hey it felt good so 🤷🏻‍♀️)

You also get to choose a scent to go with the massage, a ritual called Suwahjeong, to help relax or invigorate you — I found it very therapeutic!

𝙏𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙥𝙨:

Did I mention there are no extractions?!! I am not the biggest fan of extractions so this is a yay for me.

I kept dozing off in-between steps because it was so relaxing, but the gist of it is:

1. Ginseng foot scrub

2. Massage of meridian points with your chosen scent

3. Double cleansing

4. Exfoliation

5. Eye care (they applied gold leaf and used toner to dissolve it)

6. First mask!

7. Jade ring massage

8. Modelling mask

9. More massage

Okay there were many, many more massages in-between like on the scalp, the neck, shoulders, hands etc. I can’t remember bcus I was phasing in and out of existence but just know that it was so so relaxing.

The 80-minute session was SO SOOTHING and my skin looked amazing.

I haven’t felt this relaxed in so long, especially with all the work on hand!!! I’m quite the insomniac so it’s pretty hard for me to fall asleep.

I was pretty impressed with how there were massages in-between every step. During the mask segments, the therapist would not just leave me to lie there like a dead log, she’s massage, like, everything 🥹

This facial is priced at $300. Yes, you heard right. It’s definitely not a monthly indulgence with my skinny paycheck 😭
