How to Guide White Sands National Park

White Sands National Park is one of the newest national parks! It is very different than other parks I have been to.

This park does not have just as much to do as others. If you do not like hiking then this is more your vibe!

⭐️Overall rating: 3/5

👍Pros: Easy to explore for all ages. Great park for wheelchair accessibility. Fun to sled, or walk around the sand. Spending a day here is easy. Very unique experience. Great photo spot.

🤔Cons: Not much to see here besides the white sands! There are trails around the park but none that look any different from just walking in the sand. Not too easy to stay or camp due to the location and sand. Unlike other parks that offer lodging, and places around it this park is more secluded.

📒Notes: Prepare for sand.

Rent a sled at the visitor center

Pro-tip: visit at sunset for amazing views.
