Because of my immature disdain for tears the book remained on my bookshelf collecting dust because I was trying to avoid the inevitable (childish I know, keep up). I got on TikTok myself and made a video just for Ms. Kennedy Ryan telling her she would owe me boxes of Kleenex! But, she replied reassuring me that I wouldn't cry. Finally and reluctantly, I put on my big girl pants, grabbed a glass of wine and read the first chapter. 📚😘
