stuffing ourselves in jeju!!✨🦪🥘

Many of the places were visited were chosen off Naver Maps! We would just map towards the area we were heading to and look on Naver for shops with good ratings- and we weren't disappointed 🤤🍜

📍 𝗖𝗮𝗳𝗲 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗱 🥯

- Cute donut shop selling diff kinds of sweet items. we got the jeju tangerine, green tea, and mugwort donuts to share which were really sweet but manageable

- suuuper cute decor in the area, take lotsa pics here!!

📍 𝗬𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗷𝗶𝗻 𝗕𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗹 𝗞𝗮𝗹𝗴𝘂𝗴𝘀𝘂 🍲

- This was a place we got off Naver Maps because Halim Noodle Soup shop was too crowded

- But MAAAN the mackerel was the best thing I've ever tasted. it was so crispy 🫶 and tasty. the noodles were not bad too! we just pointed at the pictures of the food items on the wall to order

📍𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲 & 𝗢𝘀𝘂𝗹𝗹𝗼𝗰 𝗧𝗲𝗮 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗲𝘂𝗺 𝗖𝗮𝗳𝗲 🍵

- A staple when visiting the area! Honestly, everything was just super pretty and instagrammable, but nothing out of this world

📍𝗘𝗴𝗮𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝗽 𝗗𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗸 🦀

- Splurged a lil here with raw marinated crab and crab stew- Was sooo tasty when eating everything tgt!! But just note these are flower crabs so the meat isn't much

📍𝗦𝗲𝗼𝗴𝘄𝗶𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗕𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘆 🥐

- LOOVED the vibes here and the breads were so good! My personal fav was the cream cheese basil tomato bread I still think about it...

📍𝗠𝘆𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗷𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗲 🦪

- A staple when visiting Jeju- I heard the usual waiting time is min 30min but we went at a super weird hour (4.30pm) to have dinner and our wait was less than 15min!

- 11 abalones for ~$30 whaaat and everything else was super tasty and the views of the coast were stunning

📍 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗴𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗚𝗼𝗴𝗶 𝗚𝘂𝗸𝘀𝘂 🥣

- Meat noodles that come in either soup or bibim version! I got this reco off Lemon8 so thank u 😇

- I had the bibim version and it was SO YUMMM a bit like bibimbap but noodle version

- the noodles were so smooth and soft and the soup was slightly peppery and shiok

📍𝗦𝗲𝗼𝗴𝘄𝗶𝗽𝗼 𝗢𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁 🍊

- A lot of hallbong items that u should just try one! we got the juice and a pack of 3 tangerines that were super sweet!

- Don't bother with the kimbap where they use a flame to torch the thing, wasn't worth it tbh

- BUTTTT DO GET THE MOCHI! tangerine and red bean mochis were sooo good wished I got more

📍 𝗝𝗲𝗷𝘂 𝗕𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗣𝗼𝗿𝗸 🐖

- Of course, Jeju is known for their black pork and we visited 2 locations (Chammanna Black Pork & Jeju Seom Pork) which did not disappoint

- Only thing is that the black pork belly is really suuuper fatty and I struggled a bit with it

- Other than that, pair it with a good soju (we tried some hallasan soju thing), and you'll be good!
