Black Hockey Love For The Win 🏒 🤎

This book surprised me in the best way. Nuri and Maleek are two people who didn’t a lot or the best experience with love and they find it with each other in the most unexpected circumstance.

I loved the character development we got with the both of them but especially with Maleek. Him doing better by his siblings was something he never second guessed and he fought for them since day one. Nuri grew so much for me, especially when standing up for herself to her wack ass mama side of the family ( Don’t get me started on Aunt Yevette 😒)

I wasn’t expecting them to fall for each other as quickly either but I liked that they were open and communicating with each other rather than bottle stuff in. That epilogue didn’t surprise me either with the way those two were hunching 😏 LMAO

This was my first full Alexandria House book and now I’m on a reading binge this week of the rest of her backlist. Great read to kick off Romance Awareness Month.
