Laundry Room Makeover on a Budget

We took this old, boring laundry room and gave it a cozy yet functional makeover…all on a budget!

✨ We used affordable IKEA cabinets to bring a fresh look in. IKEA cabinets are super durable and have a 25 year warranty! You can always dress them up with pretty hardware, like I did here.

✨ Adding easy-to-install vertical shiplap brought a fun yet timeless look to the space. The color is Meadow Sage by Sherwin Williams.

✨ The shelf is made of white oak and adds so much useful space to this area!

✨ Using our old appliances kept the budget down on this project. We may replace them down the road, but they’re totally functional right now!

✨ My favorite thing to add to any space is thrifted decor items. Thrifted pieces add a layer of warmth and cozy to any space that’s hard to find with brand new items!
