my boyfriend and i went to this European inspired cafe called d light cafe & bakery in adams morgan a couple weeks ago. the ambiance was so light and airy, it truly felt like you were transported into Europe. there was an extensive list of brunch items like soups, potato pancakes, shashuka, crossiants, and more!

what caught my attention the most was the owners of this restaurant, Vira and Anastasiia, are sisters who are immigrants from Ukraine. the proceeds of the restaurant have been going to the Ukrainian front 💙💛

would highly recommend if you’re looking for a cute and cozy brunch spot!
