YOU’RE PROBABLY overthinking it

Hi! It’s me.

I’m the one that was overthinking the idea of doing things that I felt were difficult to do when my children were up.

I was obsessed with keeping a clean home 24 seven.

So instead of creating a common environment, I sat there arguing with a toddler who wouldn’t let me put her down.

And man did I feel guilty about it. Because I love my Velcro baby… I really do!

How can I bake bread, meal prep, clean , when mamas baby just wants to be held all day.

Well… simply put… one day I said… okay she sees me trying to bake and wants to put her dirty hands in the dough (I can’t serve that to my family)

When I tell y’all… something so simple became a life changer… I mean it!

I sprinkled some flour, salt, baking soda, and water in little bowls, and let her do whatever right across from me!

I used to be worried about a mess! Well now I just wait till the kids are down and set a ten minute timer to tidy up the mess and that’s it! Go do whatever I want !
