My monstera deliciosa won’t give me roots!

I been trying to propagate this cutting my aunt gave me but she refuses to give me roots and I’ve had her in water for a while now. I began to look for a homemade root promoter and the only one I’m willing to try (cuz I don’t want her to end up dying lol) was to put a pothos with her because pothos have a natural growth hormone. So what I did was I put this pothos cutting that already has roots and I used the water from my pothos that I grow in water. Let’s see if that works!!! I’ll post updates in a few days and see how it goes!
