After 6 batches of mooncakes… 🥮

After 6 batches of mooncakes, I finally got the perfect sweetness and ratios down. Recipe video is now up on my YouTube channel (linked in the bio) 😊

Most recipes that I’ve found were for 100g molds and since I have the mega 150g, I had to do a lot of testing to get the right ratios. The second part that I was focusing on was improving my lotus seed paste for the perfect sweetness, color and consistency. Little did I know… it was the most labor intensive part! Don’t underestimate the lotus paste! There’s a lot of work that goes into making it and takes two✌️days. My arm probably got muscular from stirring so much paste💪😜
