my experience at the studio ghibli exhibition ✨

recently went to the studio ghibli exhibition at the artscience museum and it was a lot of fun! ☂️

we bought our tickets via klook as their system was down when we went to the artscience museum to purchase the tickets, ticket prices start from $24! (full breakdown in second photo)

the exhibition was split into two floors, b2 and l3! i started off at b2 first as i was already on that floor when i went to purchase tickets but the merchandise was sold at l3!

there were quite a number of interactive activities like folding your own totoros and drawing soot spirits! 📝

there a number of photo spots as well! 📸 though depending on the day and time you go, you may have to queue to take a photo with totoro under the rain and no face at the train station 😥 but we didn’t wait too long for both! i’d say about 20mins for each photo spot

the staff there are all super friendly as well! they do offer to help you take photos too! which was great for an introvert like me since i’m scared to approach people to ask them to help us take photos 😭

honestly, i don’t know much about studio ghibli but i did enjoy myself reading up about the different films and walking around the exhibition 🤓 on a side note, personally i get cold easily and i had a cardigan with me and felt okay so if you’re afraid it’ll be cold i recommend you to bring one too!
