Are you in need of a getaway? Here's my take on a chill weekend in JB. ps. long post ahead

Day 1: Sutera

📍Mine Nail Salon

Really want to gatekeep this place but good place must share.

It's located near Sutera Mall, which is about a 20-minute ride from CIQ. Found this place by chance, and what are the chances you find a nail place with Google Review of 4.9⭐️

📍Shu Da Xia Hotpot

Wanted to try something else other than HDL. Food wise was pretty decent, quite similar to HDL. For 2pax, we paid about 192myr, felt it was quite pricy. I would recommend just going to HDL.

Day 2: Mt Austin/Eco Palladium

📍Tufting @ Tufting Nuts

I'm sure most people know of this place. Booked our slots via WhatsApp as their IG dm was down. Payment was made online before our session as well, 63sgd for 2pax.

Would recommend doing the 60×60 as you each get a canvas of your own instead of 2 people sharing one gun and working on the same canvas.

📍Edens by Wizards

Luckily for us, even with the queue, we waited only 5mins before getting a table.

Alittle overkill with the amount of food ordered but worth coming to try. Highly recommend the salmon mentaiko pasta!

📍Shopping and just walking around Mt Austin

Honestly, nothing much. Checked out the popular clothing shops that had pretty cute pieces but not really my style. if you are into the coquette trend, it's the place for you.

They have some nail salons around, but since I already did mine, there was really nothing much to do around.

📍Eco Palladium

Went to check out Keebs Project. They had a variety of designs for key caps, highly recommend going to check it out if you are looking to build your own mechanical keyboard. The staff are really helpful and price wise, I would say it's cheaper than in Singapore

Also visited Megumi's Room, which had pretty much the same coquette style but managed to pick up 2 basic pieces.

We had dinner at the open food fair, just right nice to Eco Spring.

📍Borneo Oasis @ Nanyang Outlet

Can't comment much as I didn't get to do full body massage cause auntie flow decided to visit 🥲 I did the 90mins shoulder and leg massage. And wow, the room I was brought to had a projector and felt like i was in the gold class theatre.

Day 3: Midvalley Southkey

📍Founder's Cafe

After checking out from our airbnb, we headed to Founder's for brunch. They don't disappoint. Good was great, loved the bagels. They were so kind to give us free bagel coupons which we could redeem at any of their outlets. The condition as that you had to buy the cream cheese with every redemption.

We ate at the branch at Mt Austin but redeemed the free bagels at Midvalley just before we were about to head back.

📍MidValley Southkey

We had Dragon I for lunch, which is a good alternative to DTF for some dim sum.

Walked around somemore did some shopping concluding this short weekend getaway.
