Oregon Renaissance Faire | Summer Activities

📍 Canby, OR, 30 minutes outside Portland.

The Oregon Ren Faire in Canby is an event I look forward to all year!! I love seeing all the fun costumes and shopping around the vendors. There’s a ton of local and handmade products, from art and jewelry to swords and suits of armor!

✨ Highlights ✨

🤍 The Pickle Man! Sells fresh pickles straight from the wooden barrel.

🤍 Drinking mead: like a sweet honey wine, it reminds me of a fruity cider, and there was a few different fun flavors.

🤍 The entertainment: we watched sword swallowing, jousting, a comedy show, and a few different musical acts! Some are local, some travel cross country to perform here :)

🤍Shopping: I especially love the handmade jewelry, but I find something fun every year to bring home. This year I found a matching set of inked prints that show Persephone and hades.

One tip: lines are long for food and drinks, so it’s better to get it early before lines pile up and anyone gets hangry. It also gets dusty, so don’t wear shoes you don’t want dirty!!
