i started buying ✨quality jewellery ✨

I LOVE sourcing for cheap deals for everything on taobao/pinduoduo, including jewellery. But as expected, metal jewellery from taobao tends to tarnish quickly, or just feel and look cheap to begin with. So after those started piling up at home, I started looking into mid-range(?), better quality jewellery:

💛 Goldheart | Cinnamoroll Necklace 💛

💰 Price: $300+

My first, more pricey piece was this white gold necklace that I got from my parents when I turned 21! As a Sanrio fan, I fell in love with in at first sight and I’ve been wearing it all the way since then. It has cinnamoroll as the bow, a four leaf clover at the tip and also a nice little pink sapphire.

After wearing it for a few years, I realised that it was a worthy investment as I still receive compliments on it from time to time + it still looks great to this day.

I did accidentally break it once when it got caught in my bag zip…!! It just cost me about $50 to fix it at goldheart, but I honestly thought it was worth it.

💍 Pandora | Sparkling Elevated Heart Ring 💍

💰 Price: $169

Next up was my Pandora ring. I know some people are conflicted about the price v.s. quality of Pandora items, but I really liked the design, so I decided to go for it. I’ve worn it for a few months so far, and though I always hit it on things, I think it’s still looking sparkly and not too bad HAHA.

More recently, I decided that I wanted a bracelet because my wrist looked empty LOL. Was looking around but most seemed to be too big for me. Then I came across By Invite Only’s Tutu Kueh collection!! I’m a sucker for collabs related to local food etc., so I got it. I must say though, their customer service was really good also. This bracelet is 14cm, which fits me well and doesn’t drop all the way till my arm…

Now I wear all three of these daily to work/go out, and I love how they’re part of my “get ready” routine!

I can also afford them now that I’ve started working and think they really add on to the corporate girlie look 💁🏻‍♀️

But ngl, this might have also kickstarted another shopping habit. 👀
