Rating CHAGEE Drinks 🍃

Hello!

Chagee opened in SG a few months back, so I took the chance to try a few of their drinks from the Fresh Milk Tea Series ✨️

I've also tried the Chagee in China and JB. They tasted around the same, but they're cheaper lol. I don't remember the price in China, but in JB, it comes to around $3-4+, which is slightly cheaper than it is in SG ($5-6+).

Actually, I started drinking Bawangchaji a few years back before they rebranded to Chagee. It was equally or more expensive, but with a slightly different menu. I really miss the Tangerine Puer Latte...if anyone knows where I can find it, please please let me know! 😩

🍃 Jasmine Green Milk Tea - 8/10 👏🏻

This is the OG Chagee drink for me. Tried this first in China on a work trip and was sold. The first cup you try will always be the best, though, because it hits different from usual milk teas. Still good afterwards, but maybe not as surprising.

🍃 Lapsang Souchong Black Milk Tea - 6/10 👌🏻

Don't get me wrong, it doesn't taste bad, but since most bubble teas out there use black tea (i think), it tastes a lot like your typical bubble milk tea.

🍃 Tie Guan Yin Milk Tea - 10/10 🙌🏻

Omg. I felt like I found treasure when I tried this? Might be personal preference, but I loved the rice/wheat taste to this milk tea. Also, I haven't tasted this before anywhere else (please throw me recommendations if there's something similar!).

I'm also convinced that their straws (the flat, thin ones) help to add to the flavour because we savour the taste every time we take a sip, rather than gulping/drinking quickly? HAHA. Let me know if you agree with this. 😂
