What to wear on voting day (fashion do's and dont'

The heat of election is just around the corner. Flags are being hang all around the city. Its time, its time to make a decision. We are all aware that voting is a citizen's responsibility. Citizens participate in the democratic process by voting.

Other than deciding which leader will rule our country. BESTIE WE NEED TO DECIDE ON WHAT TO WEAR ON #GE15 . Voting while slaying as we should. Here are few tips off on your #OOTD .

1. I know yall are excited especially for our first time voter (same sis) but need to remember that nail polish/stickers aren't allowed on the election day if you're voting. Why? Its because in order to make a sign you've voted we need to dip one of our finger into the ink. This is to avoid people scamming the system (voting double).

2. Next is to avoid any relations or showing your interest with any political parties. So avoid wearing clothing or accessories that shows a party's logo/slogan/name. Yeah we know you're a devoted member of the party but please #undiiturahsia .

3. Avoid wearing sleeveless, short summery pants, skirts, dresses or crop top. I know the weather is hot and the waiting is long. But the officers in charge at the election centre have a right to deny your entry. So dress modestly and appropriately.

How to dress then?

Make sure your top have sleeves, doesnt matter if its short, arm length, full or dramatic sleeves as ling as there's sleeve present. As for bottoms make sure any skirts or pants or your dress below knee length. You may shop from Whimisgirl or Zalora for a last minute outfit (they offer 1 days delivery) or its time for you and your friend to go for last minute Shopping as 18/11/2022 is a holiday afterall.

Lastly, be prepared. Make sure you IC/Passport is with you for identification. Bring along an umbrella and a mini fan as the weather are unpredictable. Check on the forecast for the day, but nothing's wrong on being prepared. Charge your phone and listen to some podcasts or binge to your fav series while lining up. I know not everyone is going with companies so atleast you can entertain yourself. Sanitizer, face mask and wipes are a must as you will be at a crowded and public area. Also you can bring a long bite size snacks to munch just incase you're hungry, dont want you guys to get gastric while waiting.
