Perfect for Hunger Games lovers | Book Review

I'm back with another book review, Powerless by Lauren Roberts. A little fun fact, the author is actually a tiktoker before and now her book is a hit! If you're someone who fancy or obsessed with Hunger Games, this one is totally for you! Have the exact vibe and aura, a lot of tension between the female & male character and definitely just like Capitol Vs District but with a touch of magic and enemies to lovers troupe.

A world where Ordinary (ones without power) are killed and executed on the spot because it is said that the Ordinary bring disease to the Elite (ones with power). During the purging the Ordinary are killed and executed along with The Silencers, The Fatals and a few of Elite who have a threatening power. Paedyn is an Ordinary that survived and currently posing as a Psychic just to blend in with the Elite. Things get more complicated when she found herself tangled with the prince where she coincidentally save the prince and now selected to be the participants of Purging Trials where only one is a winner. Now she need to try survive the trials but also need to fight her growing feelings for the prince.

I'm PRETTYYY MUCH OBSESSED with Paedyn and Kai Azer. Their banter, the tension between them and the non stop flirting + fighting really excite me. What I love more is that this is a clean romantasy which mean it is clean from any spice/smut. Definitely worth to read! A magnificent dbut from the author, I really need the sequel. It is not just the romance that makes me rate this book 5 stars but also it is action packed and the world building is brilliant. Looking forward to see how it expand more in the sequel!
