Book Review | Girl, Goddess, Queen

Hi Lemonades,

Today I'll be reviewing book, Girl, Goddess, Queen by Bea Fitzgerald. It's a Young Adult Contemporary Romance, a retelling of Hades and Persephone. I must say that I like the different portrayal of Hades and Persephone in this book. Persephone has a strong character character and sometimes she's tad girl boss. On the other hand, Hades has quite soft character and I love this.

Persephone or used to be Kore, Goddess of Flowers ran away from Sicily just because she doesn't want to be tied down to a political marriage arranged by her father, Zeus. So she just decided that maybe she can just jumped to Hell, and she did it anyways. In Hell, she met Hades and he literally gave her protection in his realm. From there her journey begins from being just a girl to a goddess and finally a Queen.

This book is very lighthearted and fun to readZ recommended to those who love Greek Mythology because you might be in love with this version of Hades and Persephone.
