First and last experience with KKKL⚠️ Coach didn’t stop directly at Genting Awana but somewhere near the area, meaning we had to walk down a steep slope with our grandparents + luggages 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 well, we didn’t wanna pursue the matter and ruin our long awaited extended family trip but the fact that the journey back from Genting to SG turned out to be a catastrophe, here i am.

1)2pm coach from Genting was delayed so a Malaysian coach was replaced which came at 3.30pm.

2)Malaysian coach stopped at KL highway to change to our initial KKKL bus. When everyone was on board and luggages were checked, we expected the bus to take us to Tuas Checkpoint. However, it did not move for a good five minutes which was a cause for concern hence we asked the tour guide of the journey back to SG who introduced himself as NG ‘what’s happening’. He mentioned that the driver felt dizzy and needed to rest. We fully understand that such a situation is inevitable so we asked NG ‘what’s next?’ ‘who is gonna drive us’ He brazenly said to wait for the current driver to rest awhile before driving us as there were no backup drivers…the lives of twenty-seven in the hands of the unwell driver…no way right, we then insisted for a back up driver. What we couldn’t accept was the half-truth responses given to us when we asked NG about the time it would take for the back up driver to arrive. It was to the point that we waited for about four and a half hours (~ 6pm - 1030pm) stranded in the middle of an ulu place (as evident in picture), with no sense of security from NG himself. Some who had their own place somewhere in KL decided to return back instead of waiting aimlessly while some (specifically children) were balling their eyes out, worried about not being able to get home SG safely. On top of having to wait without knowing when exactly there will be another driver, we were famished and needed the toilet urgently.

3)Back up coach came at 10.30pm, took us to a nearby place with food and toilet…

4)Back up coach stopped at Tuas Checkpoint at 3am and we had to change to another coach to drive us back to SG.

This was utterly unacceptable, we entrusted KKKL as our mode of transport back and fro. With our grandparents alongside with us for this trip, we decided to book a coach to make it hassle-free for them as well but we ended up having to change buses four times altogether, bringing our luggages up and down…really…take KKKL at your own risk, i”ll never see you again KKKL, absolutely a horrible experience
