i spent $111 on a lipstick so you don’t have to 💋

the title is a bit of a clickbait BUT if i were to purchase the lipstick & case in sg, it would’ve totalled up to $111..

however, i got mine in japan and only paid a total of $79.93 for both!! 🤑

honestly, it could’ve been at least $10 cheaper if i just got the refill + case but they sadly ran out of refills so i had to purchase the lipstick that came with the black case..

according to the conversion rate on the day i went which is 117.6, here’s a mini price breakdown/comparison incase you’re interested in getting yours from japan too!

i only paid $79.93 for both because my friend was given some card that provided us a 5% discount at certain stores in takashimaya and dior beauty happened to be one of them!

also, $79.93 is the price before my tax refund so it was slightly cheaper after!

however, as much as i love the shade and casing, the lipstick does not stay on for long.. which is pretty common for lipstick i guess..? i’m not too sure since i mainly use lip tints which stays on for so much longer (and for less than $20..)

ANDD if you’re considering to get the dior backstage glow palette, it retails for $80 in sg but it’s going for $56.13 in japan!!!

ngl i was so tempted to get it but i don’t even use any of the palettes i have at home so i decided to skip that.. but i’ve seen multiple videos on how one palette can be used as your eyeshadow/bronzer/highlight so it’s definitely worth the $$!
