stop visiting overrated cafes in jb, go here inst!

i haven't seen much people posting about this cafe yet but yall really have to stop visiting those overly hyped cafes with mid tier food and visit Top Fish House 一品鱼屋 instead!!

it was a 42min ride from city square ($8.50) but it’s located around mount austin so you can explore the diff cafes around the area~

i absolutely loved their poke bowl, it was soo good i devoured it within minutes & can we talk about their sashimi?? we got 9pcs for $8 and the quality was pretty decent as well, it didn’t taste like it wasn’t fresh!

also, this was one of the few places where i actually finished my matcha latte~~ it wasn’t too sweet/bitter + i would say they were quite generous with their food portions as well since we were all struggling to finish our food..

omg & one thing i LOVE abt their interior is that there’s actually sockets lying right behind where we were seated which saved all of our asses bc our phones were literally dying and we took turns charging our phone while gossiping abt the tea that’s been going on 😋

we went on a thursday afternoon so it was just us and another table, i’m not sure how the crowd gets on weekends but their place is pretty small so maybe be prepared to queue if it’s full!
