to all the cafes i visited in malacca 💋

hiii this is a mini compilation of the cafes i’ve been to on my short trip to malacca recently!! i’ve tried searching for pretty cafes to go to on lemon8 but there weren’t much that i wanted to visit so i had to go ahead & stalk others on ig in order to find places to go to 😭😭

this is one of the prettier instagram worthy cafes i’ve been to in malacca.. we went down after eating just to check the place out since we were nearby so we only got something to drink 🍵 their matcha lychee was not only pretty but also really nice and it wasn’t too sweet

the hot matcha latte art was also really cute, it was a bear but after i poked the eyes with the tea spoon, it became a frog! 🐸

we ordered chacha litchi with milk (14rm) & hot matcha latte (13rm) but i personally preferred the chacha litchi over the other! also, their menu is a stack of paper stapled together & it suddenly made me feel like i had worksheets to do 😭😭

this was the first cafe i visited in malacca and to be honest, i was kind of taken aback by the difference from instagram & in real life.. it was almost as if i was catfished but by a cafe LOL (at least i still got nice pics hehe)

their interior was slightly run down and their photo spot was only at the front & back of the cafe. the back of the cafe was the main reason why i wanted to go as it really looked like a cafe straight out of seoul but in reality, it was just a small little space with stones, plants & mirrors.

what i saw from their instagram was red plants in the background with tables, chairs & the circular mirror but when i went, the plant was green with all their tables & chairs stacked aside. (the red plant was seasonal and they changed it to green after)

the cafe was considered decent but i lowkey had high expectations as this was one of the places i really wanted to go. thus, i felt a bit disappointed after seeing it in real life

we only ordered mushroom soup with garlic bread & drinks since we ate before heading down (their drinks were lowkey too sweet for me 😭)

we went after hearing good reviews of their crepe cakes and it was actually pretty good 🤭 we ordered 5 different slices when there were only 3 of us.. my fav one was definitely the tiramisu (i don’t normally like tiramisu but i somehow really liked theirs)

it seemed pretty popular as well because we had to queue outside before heading in even though we were the first in the queue
