the cutest (and yummiest) bento cake 🤤

helloo! I recently celebrated my bf’s bday as well as our anniversary - one of the gifts I got him was a cute bento cake that I designed! I knew I wanted fun control over the design of the cake - particularly the cute 3d bears and colour scheme, so I went on instagram and came across The Baker Bok!

She’s done super cute cakes as well as the dreamiest vintage cakes - which I would definitely order for myself next time HAHA

Anyway, I sent her a reference image and a quick sketch of the cake - including the details and placement of the piping border and I think she really delivered! It’s basically exactly what I envisioned in my sketch.

I chose vanilla with lotus biscoff filling for the inside of the cake, which was really yummy plus she had a lot of other interesting flavours as well - like salted caramel and thai milk tee which I deffo wanna try in the future! The total cost of the cake was about $38 - for a 4inch cake with 3d character designs! The price varies based on your design, but the base price is $28 iirc.

Overall I was really happy with the cake and would definitely order from The Baker Bok again if I needed to, the only con is that the pickup location is at Bedok which is a bit far away and the cake might melt if you keep it out for too long - in some pics u can see the cake melting under sg’s hot ass weather 😭
