as someone with very fine and flat hair, i’ve always struggled with trying to give my hair more volume. no matter how cute my outfit of the day is, my hair will always be ruining my whole look. so, i’ve tried many ways such as hair spray, layered cuts, hair curler, etc., but none works and my hair just always “stuck” to face, make it seem super flat and also makes my already huge face look even bigger😭😭 scrolling through douyin made me find this hair crimper gem which actually works!!

since i have a pretty high forehead, i don’t want to add more volume to the top of my hair as it’ll make my forehead seem even longer 🤣 also my main issue is that i don’t want the hair around my cheek areas to be so flat hence this is how i use the crimper ⬇️

• first i find the pointiest part of my head and section my hair at that point 💈

• then i start crimping my hair little by little 🥹

• the key is to crimp it near the roots and go over it several times to ensure the crimps stay 👍🏻

• i simply repeat this till the hair near my ears and that’s it! 🤍

you can also use hair spray to make the crimps last longer, but i guess i’m using it the wrong way?? cause i feel like it weighs down my hair more and takes away the volume it initially had 🥲 (if anyone has any tips pls lmk if the comments)

overall, this is a super easy and quick tool to use, i’d normally take around 10 mins. PLUS!! it actually works so for girlies out there with the same problem as me, you definitely need to give this a shot 🫶🏻
