your guide to an AMAZING jb trip 😙 28rm waterpark!

dk what to do in jb? use my guide for a mix of thrift shopping, yummy finds, & a blast of fun activities all in one! 😉 don’t say i nv share hor 👍 custom jam for 5.5h but ok la worth ig :/

day 1:

- check in hotel (gbw hotel)

- dinner: sky26 bar (holiday villa) ~ 9 mins drive

- bang bang vent mount austin (No. 12 Jalan Austin Heights 8/6) ~ closed at 12am, 15 mins drive

❗️generally wouldn’t recommend this place as 3/5 activities were closed but we were still charged the same price,, def not worth! but people were nice and service was 💯

- hdl & movie (fast x)

day 2:

- lunch: ya wang ~ closed at 2.30pm, 11 mins walk from hotel

- thrift: kendai dobi shanghai (53, Jalan Tan Hiok Nee, Bandar Johor Bahru, 80000)

- thrift: rebirth inc (1 min walk, No. 51, Jalan Tan Hiok Nee, Bandar Johor Bahru)

❗️we loved this place as there are so many fun activities like tubby ride, trampolines, high elements, cage ball, & basketball. 10/10 recommended! there were also chocolate waffles which was 🤌🏼 & arcade games for as low as 2RM in sunway big box~

- xpark sunway iskandar

❗️0/10 as all the activities we wanted to play were closed 😭 would recommend yall to go before 5pm! they also only accept cashless payment so do be prepared!

- dinner: r&f mall pasar malam - opens at 5pm

❗️abit underwhelming but got some really nice moo-ping!

day 3:

- restaurant teck seng (8 mins walk from crystal crown hotel, close 8.30pm)

❗️did not disappoint at all! really good herbal chicken wrapped in paper & sambal kangkong 😋

- austin heights water & adventure park (28rm/pax?!)

❗️ongoing promo rn! really fun~ 4 adult rides, lazy river; worth even though we had to wait 2h for the rain to stop 😔

- movie (the little mermaid)

❗️thought it wld be boring but ok pretty cute & interesting… didn’t fall asleep under the sea! 7/10

day 4:

- keijometo (opens 11am)

❗️didn’t get to dine here as the queue was too long 😵 took some nice pictures tho

- nikko & yoryo

❗️chanced upon this cafe a stone throw away from keijometo, would recommend the mentaiko salmon don & matcha latte~ 6/10

- danga bay seafood market

❗️really good salted egg juicy juicy crab 🦀 & scallops w asparagus + xo sauce ~ damage about 40sgd/pax,, worth!!

- danga bay world theme park (till 12am)

❗️had a blast here~ merry go round (4rm/pax), viking (10rm/pax), bouncy castle (15rm/pax), e-scooter (30rm for 10 mins)
